As recently as Fathers Day 2021, Rich and his son Eric took one of their many restaurant trips to a pizza restaurant right past the Bolton house. Aside from his family and friends, he was quite proud of the house he built by himself where he raised his family on West Street in Bolton. He loved working for his bank clients and developed many relationships with them for the rest of his life. After leaving Diebold in 2012, he started his own company called Richard Haugh Security. He worked more than 15 years for Diebold and was the jack of all trades. He started his career as a Glastonbury Police Officer, and eventually settled into his true calling with the security field. Up until the moment he passed, Rich was the most genuine, caring, and dedicated father. In 19, Rich became a father to his pride and joy, his two cherished sons, Gregory R., and Eric Haugh.
